Coal Tar soap Turmeric and made for desert life—justThis is coal tar soap. Because its a medicinal bar, this is hot processed so the actives can be added after the lye is consumed. I made this with tallow, shea butter, Babassu oil, olive oil, and castor oil. I had initially intended to color with activated charcoal, but at last minute added no color because I wanted to see the natural color. Its kind of odd. It has a good amount of coal tar, colloidal oatmeal, Dead Sea mud, goat milk and is scented
