L418 Retail ash on wood18th century Italian fragment with chalcedony rosettes on a hand painted gallery 1 inch canvas. The canvas is distressed with gold powders used by restorers in Italy in the 18th and 19th centuries and are no longer available. The powders coordinate with the chalcedony rosettes and fragment piece. The 18th century fragment is originally from Tuscany.
