House of Hazelwood 'A Breath of Fresh Air' Scotch Whisky 46.4% 700ml pollys-club Less carnivalThere are whiskies that impress through power, others through age, and some, rarer still, through the quiet beauty of restraint. A Breath of Fresh Air, from the House of Hazelwood, is emphatically the latter. It does not shout. It glides. A 37 year old grain whisky of astonishing poise, this limited expression delivers exactly what its name suggests, a bright, elevating contrast to the deeper, duskier notes that often characterise long aged spirits.
