Radio Direction Finder Receiver central west from around 1994The radio direction finder receiver on the bridge of MV Cape Don, used for tracing radio beacon signals from coastal stations. The door at the rear of the frame leads to the port bridge wing. Cape Don served as a Commonwealth lighthouse tender from 1963 to 1990, the sole surviving vessel of the entire CLS fleet. Part of the MV Cape Don series.
