ALDO CONTERNO LANGHE QUARTETTO 2021 Country:Italy - Piedmont planted on clay-limestone soils thatA short maceration of 810 days in stainless steel at 2426C keeps this Langhe blend fresh and approachable, letting the four variety fruit speak clearly without extracting heavy tannin. The grapes Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Syrah come from Bussia, Aldo Conterno's cru site in Monforte d'Alba, where calcareous clay marl soils on south facing slopes at 250400 meters deliver both structure and minerality. Oak aging follows the initial tank
