Description

I designed these cupjacks as a cross between Ivan Smith’s small Liquer jacks (he called them pig stickers) and Jim Moore’s cup jacks

which is the number one cause of wear on jack blades

They are incredibly nice for opening straight sided thin vessels that are either cylindrical or conical

Because the bronze blades do not cool the glass like steel does

They work best with carnuba wax but good beeswax works well too
