Wonderful 1920s Antique Hand Embroidered Crewel Deep Forest Green Wrap Robe or Coat designer-mr-blackwell This one is documented andThis is a remarkable antique wrapped robe that can serve double duty as a light evening coat. These are very difficult to date but I think it would be somewhere near and around the twenties. These type of pieces were constructed with a level of hand work that is getting harder and harder to find. It is not 100% perfect but its construction and beauty far outweigh its small flaws. The exterior is extensively covered with a beautiful crewel embroidery
