A George III Ebonised & Upholstered Salon/Side Chair c.1780 sub-Religion & Relics the British competitorOrigin: English Period: George III Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1780 Height: 37. 5 or 16 at seat Width: 22 Depth: 19 (all at extremities) The ebonised Georgian period side or salon chair having a Hepplewhite taste padded oval back and shaped seat, upholstered in House of Hackneys Dinosauria with double piping, the carcass with later(?) unifying stretchers, with tapering front legs to block rear legs. The chair is in good sturdy and original condition
