Handmade Danish Oak Display Cabinet with Secret Compartment and Maker’s Inscription, circa 1940's Ceramics Likely created between 1900 andCrafted in Denmark by cabinetmaker Rud Egon Leo Arne Gunnar Buus Nielsen, this mid century oak display cabinet features detailed hand carving, arched glass doors with original brass escutcheons, and two carved drawers above an open base shelf. The standout detail is a hidden drawer, that is revealed on the the drawers are opened and a small peg on the interior of the cabinet is lifted. On the underside of the drawer, the maker left an inscription in
