Good drainage
Matchstick Bromeliad
If left alone the seed will germinate and the patch will be a large one quite soon
lime free soil
30cm spread eventually
Hebe epacridea cream red Good drainageA wonderful textural plant. Quite beautiful for rock gardens and troughs. From the Eastern South Island mountains in scree and rocks. It only gets about 40cm tall, and the lower leaves die making it a bit straggly at times, but I feel it adds to the spectacle of natural lovelieness. Hebe epacridea in flower at Mt Hutt.
