JAPANESE WWII ARMY OFFICERS DISPLAY PIECE A very scarce piece ofA very nice 66cm Showa period blade, which is devoid of any chips. There is a very faint view of the wavy Hamon. The tang is complete with a Showa stamp, which is standard on any blades made after 1934. The actual date of manufacture of this blade is 1941; it has a 7 character signature. Fitted into its standard military mounts, the cloth wrapping for the ray skin covered hilt is in nice condition with slight wear, no fraying to the top binding. All
