On the palate it shows full body with smooth, rounded yet firm tannins, balanced acidity and a lush texture; flavour notes include dark berries, cherry, a touch of leather, graphite and subtle spice pepper. The oak influence contributes vanilla toffee and caramel touches into the finish, which is long and persistent.
