Poggiopiano - Rosso di Sera Toscana 2008 (750ml) Plavac Mali with a rich and layeredThe 2008 Rosso di Sera (Sangiovese, Colorino) is rather reserved in this vintage. Layers of black cherries, smoke, crushed rocks and tar emerge from this mineral driven, vibrant Rosso di Sera. The 2008 isn? a powerhouse, but rather a wine that impresses for its energy, vibrancy and focus. An explosive finish makes it hard to resist a second taste.
