Château du Retout has concentrated
this is a ripe wine
with concentrated flavors of blackberry coulis and plum sauce well-seasoned with crushed rosemary and lavender
mulberry and cherries on the nose
both these aspects will come together
Château Batailley Lions De Batailley 2019 (750ml) Sonoma Coast Château du Retout has concentratedDark garnet colour with brick tints. Open nose with notes of plums in brandy, tobacco and roasted coffee. Satiny attack, with long and fat tannins, tension and finesse. Character with red fruit gratin and undergrowth, hint of cocoa. Well balanced, full bodied finish with spices and toasted wood, hints of liquorice and roasted plums. Beautiful persistence!
