1899 ANTI-MORMON. Mormon Savage Attack on Western Emigrants in the Rockies. Rare. Ephemera on "Paddies" iA very scarce anti mormon narrative written by Charles Brewer, who served as Medical officer in Utah and witnessed the attacks of Mormons on travelers through the territory. In his introduction, he says the brutality of the Mormons exceeded anything he had ever seen or recorded in American history, including the scalpings and dismemberments by the Native Americans, etc. No copies in the trade at the time of cataloging and last at auction in 1955.
