Description

2 was completed in 1921 as the largest steam-powered water pumping station in Australia

a postwar government school that closed with 220 students on the roll

photographed in 2019 as paint peels from the walls and light falls through a high window onto the quiet wreckage of the room

dust-coated and forgotten

Brick Annex at Waterfall

Glass Type:Framed 2 was completed in 1921Rectangular and curved glass panes rest against a teal wall at Marina Picture Palace, half buried in dust on a shelf edged with flaking green paint. Moisture has lifted the teal in broad curling sheets, exposing raw plaster beneath. The building opened on 28 May 1927 and ran as a cinema until 1984. Part of the Marina Picture Palace series.
