French Doors reflections part of the Dr AugustTall white framed French doors, their glass panes clouded with dust, open onto a timber railing and the green of trees beyond. The worn rendered wall and bare floorboards place this room firmly in the working fabric of the Braidwood Hotel, built in 1859 at the height of the district's gold rush. Georgian proportions throughout: high ceilings, generous openings, nothing decorative that wasn't also structural. Part of the Braidwood Hotel series.
