Sofa heat Engawa at NikkoA dust covered sofa sits in one of Seika Dormitory's vacated rooms, its fabric torn and cushions long flattened. Built in 1927 to house Taiwanese students studying in Tokyo, the reinforced concrete building in Kohinata, Bunkyo ku held residents for 80 years before a July 2007 fire displaced the last 40 households. Part of the Seika Dormitory series.
