The building operated as a group lodging facility from around 1994 until 2006

and brick paving below shows years of cracking and stain

Hull lasts Shadows fall across the decayedA weathered hull sits within the former Lars Halvorsen Sons Pty Ltd Boatyard at Putney, its surface stripped back to rust and peeling paint. The yard operated on the Parramatta River from 1939, producing over 250 military vessels during the Second World War and later launching Gretel, Australia's first America's Cup challenger, in 1962. Part of the Halvorsen's Boat Yard series.
