Bold Wine Co Cabernet Sauv 2018 750ml june26-b1s1-5 with a touch of freshRipe summer berries are electric and alive, even on the nose. Blackberry, raspberry, and currants are up front, with with dusty earth and granitic mineral singing just behind delicate nutmeg and clove. The palate shows the ripeness of the fruit without excess weight, and the lively acidity keeps the lush fruit in perfect harmony. The finish is on the long side, with just enough spice and leathery tannin to keep me wanting more.
