miniature tintype boston actor posing w howard athenaeum advertising broadside lesbian but in overall very niceRare original gem tintype, showing a man (possibly the actor Joe Murphy) posing with a large broadside advertising "Seven Sisters" and the "Female Minstrels", which ran at Boston's famous Howard Athenaeum, AKA Old Howard Theatre, in August, 1861. There were possibly later showings,but that is the one confirmed date I found. Looks like the top of a hatof a person holding the sign is partially visible. Tintype is only about an inch tall. Very good
