Yuill's background in fine arts as a sculptor coupled with his lifetime of surfing and shaping gives him a unique perspective on board building that yields unique and highly functional sculptural art pieces we know as surfboards

As with many of his shapes

The rocker is minimal with just a bit of flip in the nose and tail and the rails run on the softer side until reaching the final third of the board

The displacement hull runs the entire length of the board and holds the shape of its convexity from nose all the way until about the last third of the board where the roll starts to flatten out slightly

this sled is reminiscent of the Hawaiian single fins being ridden around 70s
