If you break your starboard V-Lock base

1/2 inch thick starboard with the V-Lock base hole pattern pre-drilled

This idea came to us here at V-Lock from a customer who had some expensive gear stolen when left overnight

This provides some additional clearance for situations where 1" does not place the application high enough

Long Inserts Insert:Long Flat Insert If you break your starboardThese long inserts are for when you need a few more inches of height to get up and over to where you need to be. The long flat insert is 8" from the top of the V Lock base. The long bent insert rises 3. 5" from the top of the V Lock base and bends at 90 degrees leaving a 4" mounting surface. Both are 4" wide same as the standard insert.
