The impression of the building in the porcelain becomes more striking when the lamp is illuminated

Once the piece was illuminated I could see patterns in the surface of the porcelain that made me think of shooting stars

Aqua Gingko - Medium tile picture Liz has created this smallThis porcelain pendant light has been inspired by the delicacy of linear patterns on the gingko leaves. I love the way this shade goes from being a subtle green colour when off to a strong fresh green when illuminated in a darkened room. The colour of my porcelain shades may vary slightly from the image shown. There is a natural variation as different environments effect the light levels emitted through the porcelain.
