PHLOX X `VIOLET PINWHEELS` Size:#1-- Easy to dry or freezeCategory: Perennial Breeder: Plants That Work Hardiness Zone: 4 9 Height: 4 5 in Spread: 24 36 in Bloom Color: Purple Shades Foliage Color: Green Shades This brilliant new creeping Phlox is a hybrid that behaves like a Phlox subulata, but with a much more intense flower color that you'd expect. Violet purple flowers are aglow from mid to late spring, and the notched, upturned petals look like tiny pinwheels, especially with movement from the wind.
