A Late Nineteenth Century Engraved Silver Box sub-Rugs- Carpets & Textiles Origin: Possibly GermanAn engaging and personal little silver treasure, of rectangular form, engraved all over with vines, leaves and scrolls. At the centre of one side is a cartouche engraved with the monogram "J E A". The case has spring loaded hinges and is opened by a button at the top.
