The tooth is 2. 8 cm long and 1. 5 cm wide at the base. It is somewhat recurved. The serrations on both mesial and distal carinae are excellent. It has 2 serrations per millimeter which is small for an adult Torvosaurus, however the serration characteristics are certainly not Allosaurus
