Attic Opening empty Built in 1927 by theLight cuts through an opening in the attic of Mittagong Maltings, catching dust motes in a shaft above exposed timber beams and industrial remnants. The Maltings operated as Australia's only traditional floor malting facility for 81 years, supplying malted barley to Tooth and Co from 1905 until production ceased in 1980.
