Abruzzo is home to one DOCG Montepulciano d`Abruzzo Colline Teramane, and three DOCs Cerasuolo Montepulciano dAbruzzo, Trebbiano dAbruzzo and Controguerra. Abruzzo mostly produces wines from Montepulciano but also Sangiovese, Pecorino and Passerina as well
