Pre-Owned 1958 Gibson Conversion Banjo With Case accessories Bridge: Adjustable Compensated Ebony BridgeA great buy on an old Gibson conversion banjo! This one is priced to sell! This is a 1958 gibson conversion 5 string banjo. What does that mean? Originally it was a 4 string that someone has converted to a 5 string and also this banjo wouldnt have had a full weight tone ring originally as it does now. This has a 5 Star no hole tonering which was added later. As far as the neck, were not sure who made it but its of decent mahogany ebony construction
