The backside gets a red train of tulle and sequins as well, although Betty really doesnt dance, so its more for a streak of color and interest than anything
Its a flat shoe rather than a sandal, and gives a summer dress a slightly more polished feel
When I make a recipe like this, Im typically too lazy to get my blender out (and clean it up after) so I just use my immersion blender in a bowl to mix everything together
