The off-shoulder neckline frames the dcolletage beautifully and creates a romantic, feminine silhouette that is extremely flattering on fuller figures
The Astoria in ebony black is the more formal proposition of the three Astoria variants. Where the pale blue makes a statement, the black disappears into any dress code and lets the case and hands do the talking. The tonneau case measures 34mm across and 37mm tall with a 44.2mm lug-to-lug and 9.2mm of thickness. It sits flat under a shirt cuff without resistance. The ebony black dial carries the same two-zone texture as the rest of the lineup with outer radial striations and inner concentric eye pattern, but in black the effect reads as depth rather than color. Light catches the striations as the wrist moves while the center pulls the eye inward. Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9. Polished cathedral hands sweep at 28,800 bph, or eight beats per second, continuous motion. SuperLuminova on both dial and hands handles low-light legibility without announcing itself in daylight. No date. The movement is the Miyota 9039, a no-date hi-beat automatic that handwinds and hacks. The solid caseback carries an engraving of Steinway Manor in Astoria, Queens. Water resistance is 50 meters. The leather-backed fabric strap uses quick-release spring pins and tapers from 18mm to 16mm at the prong buckle
