Butternut Box with Bubinga/Slate Paddle Scratch Box Call Short Paddle Call Paddle is tethered to theButternut box with a striker paddle of Bubinga and Slate trimmed in Bolivian Ironwood. These calls have excellent volume and can be worked lightly to tone the volume down. Work the call across the striker paddle in a oblong circle without picking the box up off of the call to obtain a nice breaking yelp. Each call is made slightly different and tuned individually to the paddle it is paired up with. Work this call slower to obtain more raspyness.
