– Rozszerzenie TXT również może być obsługiwane przez Google Search Console. Kiedy wykorzystać takie rozszerzenie? Jeśli w Twoim pliku znajdują się tylko adresy URL stron internetowych. Pamiętaj jednak, by plik zawierał po jednym adresie w każdym wierszu.

Możliwe jest również wygenerowanie mapy witryny w formacie HTML. Taki format jest przeznaczony specjalnie dla użytkowników danej witryny. Pomaga ona w odnalezieniu się na stronie. Można powiedzieć, że jest to prosty spis treści, który ułatwia nawigację i znalezienie określonej podstrony. Odpowiednio stworzona mapa witryny może także wpłynąć na User Experience, ponieważ Google bierze pod uwagę strony proste w użytkowaniu.

Dodanie mapy strony

Wygenerowaną mapę witryny należy wskazać w adresie domeny. Najczęściej będzie to główny katalog witryny, ale może znajdować się też w innych miejscach. Znając adres pliku należy wpisać go do Google Search Console.
