Google Search Console – jak dodać stronę?

W poprzednim artykule poznaliśmy moc narzędzia jakim jest Google Search Console. Wiedząc już jakie korzyści może nam przynieść korzystanie z tej funkcji udostępnionej przez Google przejdźmy do szczegółów związanych z jego obsługą.

Konto Google Search Console

Aby móc korzystać z usług oferowanych przez Google Search Console konieczne jest posiadanie konta Google, poprzez założenie konta Gmail lub dowlonego konta powiązanego z Google. Aby założyć konto Google Search Console należy zalogować się na stronę narzędzia przy użyciu konta Google.

Warto w tym samym czasie założyć konto Google Analytics. Jeżeli nie posiadasz jeszcze żadnej witryny listing stron będzie pusty. Aby dodać witrynę należy kliknąć okno “Dodaj” po czym pojawi się okno, do którego można wpisać witrynę.

Dodać możemy jedynie aktywną stronę, która jest dostępna w Internecie. Nie można dodać wersji developerskiej czy działającej po wpisaniu hasła. Warto od razu dodać do GSC stronę w wersji www oraz bez www.

Wysyłane przez Google Search Console e-maile zawierają cenne wskazówki dotyczące funkcjonowania narzędzia czy dotyczące witryny, które warto przeanalizować w celu optymalizowania działań SEO nad stroną.

Weryfikacja witryny

Weryfikacja posiadania domeny to najważniejszy etap dodawania strony do Google Search Console. Zwykle na początku przedstawiany jest najprostszy sposób weryfikacji domeny.

Czasem jednak zalecany sposób weryfikacji nie jest możliwy ze względu na to, że dodanie pliku na serwer, na którym znajduje się strona nie zawsze jest dostępny. Szczególnie dotyczy to stron np. zamkniętych platform blogowych takich jak Blogger.

Na takie okoliczności przygotowane są metody alternatywne weryfikacji administracji witryny. Oprócz podstawowego sposobu dodania pliku na FTP możemy skorzystać z 4 innych metod:

1) dodanie metatagu do strony głównej swojej witryny,

2) zalogowanie się do swojego dostawcy nazwy domeny,

3) użycie konta Google Analytics, 

4) użycie konta menedżera tagów Google.

Po udanym procesie weryfikacji zostaniemy przekierowani do strony analitycznej w narzędziach dla Webmasterów. Warto dodać, że weryfikacja domeny jest natychmiastowa.

Pozornie prosty i minimalistyczny widok okna głównego analizowanej strony tylko laikom wydaje się prosty. W rzeczywistości dostarcza on wielu informacji, które dobrze odczytać potrafią przede wszystkim pozycjonerzy i webmasterzy.

Narzędzie samo w sobie jest bardzo intuicyjne i proste w obsłudze jedynie interpretacja prezentowanych danych może sprawiać trudności początkującym pozycjonerom.

Dodanie strony do Google Search Console

Na koncie GSC istnieje możliwość dodanie nawet 1000 adresów URL. Należy pamiętać aby dodać zarówno strony z www jak i bez niego oraz podstrony danej domeny.

Analizie przez Google Search Console podlegać mogą zarówno strony jak i aplikacje. Każde z nich zostanie nazwane jako usługa. Aby dodać nową stronę lub aplikację w menu GSC należy kliknąć “+Dodaj usługę”.

Pamiętaj, że jeśli Twoja domena obsługuje wiele protokołów (https i http) to musisz dodać aż 4 strony jako osobne usługi, dlatego, że dla Google są to zupełnie różne domeny.
