Obecnie najpopularniejszym systemem zarządzania treścią jest WordPress. Zawiera niezliczoną ilość wtyczek, dzięki czemu otrzymujemy szeroki wachlarz możliwości.
Część z wtyczek jest tworzona przez internautów i udostępniona do powszechnego użytku – niestety nie każdy z takich twórców potrafi odpowiednio zabezpieczyć wtyczkę, co stwarza realne ryzyko zainfekowania strony.
Poza WordPress jest jeszcze mnóstwo innych systemów CMS. Warto korzystać ze sprawdzonych rozwiązań, jednak należy unikać tych niszowych, bo choć tańsze, są często nieintuicyjne i posiadają niewiele opcji. System zarządzania treścią może także być dedykowany specjalnie dla naszej strony – w takim wypadku nie musimy się przejmować zabezpieczeniami. Jest to niestety rozwiązanie drogie, bo wymagające zatrudnienia specjalisty, na które nie każdy może sobie pozwolić.
Co jeszcze będzie nam potrzebne?
Warto zastanowić się nad tym, jaki ma być cel naszej strony i jakie powinna mieć ona opcje do jego osiągnięcia. Zupełnie inne narzędzia będą potrzebne do prowadzenia strony sprzedażowej, inne dla bloga lub strony z fotorelacjami z podróży. Narzędziem, które sprawdzi się w przypadku każdej strony będzie takie, które będzie informowało nas o liczbie wejść na stronę i samych odwiedzających. Szczególnie warto zastanowić się nad Google Analytics, który może być kompatybilny z WordPress.
Wygląd witryny, a długość ładowania strony
Jednym z najczęstszych błędów jest przeciążanie strony zbyt ciężkimi grafikami. Strona wygląda wtedy dobrze, ale jej czas ładowania jest zbyt długi i zniechęca potencjalnych klientów. Warto więc zoptymalizować wagę zdjęć, jednocześnie nie tracąc na ich jakości. Dzięki temu witryna będzie wyglądała równie dobrze, a będzie się ładować kilka razy szybciej.
